Gardwell Security, part of the Gardline Group, was established in 1996. Employing over 200 staff
and with five regional offices, Gardwell Security is now one of East Anglia’s largest privately owned security
companies.
All operations are fully accredited to ISO 9001-2000 and conforming to BS7499, BS7858 & BS7984 Quality Standards,
while the security systems division is an approved installer, regularly inspected by the SSAIB. In accordance
with industry best practice, all members of the Gardwell Security team are closely screened and vetted to at
least a ten year history.
Gardwell Security officers are trained to the highest standards by a fully approved SITO (Security Industry
Training Organisation) trainer, who provides them with the right skills to deal with any situation.

Mobile Patrol / Response Services
Gardwell provides either stand-alone response or accompanied response for customer keyholders to BS7984,
guaranteeing rapid and appropriate action. Mobile patrols are in constant communication with Gardwell’s
24-hour control rooms to verify officers’ location and check on welfare. The positions of patrol vehicles
are also continuously tracked using Global Positioning system (GPS) satellite technology, for enhanced
efficiency and safety. Gardwell can supply qualified handlers with trained patrol dogs to provide an
enhanced deterrent to would-be intruders.
Electronic
Gardwell’s systems division is a SSAIB (Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board) approved installer.
Gardwell supply, install, maintain an monitor intruder alarm systems to the highest industry standards.

Investigation and Process Serving
On 1st July 2006, the business of Macrae, York and Thompson (MYT) joined the Gardwell Security Group of companies. MYT specialises in professional and business investigation services, including process serving, surveillance, fraud investigation, and crime prevention consultancy. MYT also provide antisocial behaviour support services for various agencies and housing associations, and are partners in the TASBIT anti-social behaviour intelligence toolkit software.
